Appointment Policy
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. While we are not an emergency hospital, we do our best to accommodate urgent matters for our established clients whenever possible. Because of this, occasional appointment delays may occur. Please know we make every effort to see each client on time.
If you arrive late—more than halfway through your allotted appointment—we may need to reschedule your visit in fairness to other clients whose appointments would otherwise be impacted. We understand special circumstances arise, and we will always do our best to work with you.
Patient Arrival Policy
When you arrive for your appointment, please come inside to check in with our front office team. This ensures we know you are here and that your appointment is not marked late. While you are welcome to call if you need assistance, our phone lines are often very busy, and we may not be able to answer right away—so if you cannot get through, please come inside.
Although we no longer offer full curbside service, we are happy to assist clients who need help carrying pets or getting in and out of the building. Just let us know how we can make your visit easier.
For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.
All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. A “drop off” means you bring your pet to us between 7:30 am and 8:30 am (unless given other instructions) and leave them with us for a few hours. This allows our doctors to examine your pet in between scheduled appointments or during time set aside for admitted patients. After the examination, we’ll call you with updates, the doctor’s findings, recommended treatments, and discharge instructions.
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.
Payment Policy
We require full payment at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, personal checks, and CareCredit.
We understand that unexpected situations can arise. While full payment is required before lab work can be processed and before medications can leave the hospital, we may, at our discretion, be able to work with clients on special payment arrangements under unique circumstances. CareCredit® is also available to help ensure your pet’s treatment and visits are not delayed.
If you have questions or concerns about payment, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
